By using ClaimIndex you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. ClaimIndex is an editorial ranking product. It is not a law firm, not a lawyer referral service, and not a marketplace for legal services.
License to browse
You may view rankings, methodology, and resources for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link back to the page you cited.
What you may not do
- Scrape, bulk-download, or republish the ranking table as your own product.
- Present a ClaimIndex score as a paid endorsement, State Bar approval, or guaranteed result.
- Imply that advertising on this site (there is none) moved a firm’s rank.
- Use firm names, scores, or logos in lawyer advertising without independent legal review under the rules of the jurisdiction where the ad will run.
User submissions
If you send corrections, case results, or a profile-claim form, you represent that you are authorized to send them and that they are accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may use, verify, or discard that material. We are not obligated to publish it.
Prototype status
This edition uses a fictional firm dataset. Features such as newsletter signup and data intake are layout only and do not create an account, store credentials, or form a contract.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClaimIndex is not liable for decisions you make after reading rankings — including hiring or not hiring a firm, missing a statute of limitations, or relying on illustrative numbers in this prototype.
Privacy Policy
This policy describes the prototype. A production launch would name a legal entity, a physical address, and a data-protection contact.
What this build collects
- Stay Updated form. The field exists for layout. Submits are blocked in the browser. No email is stored.
- Firm forms. Claim and data-submission fields are not posted to a server in this prototype.
- Hosting logs. If you open these files on a local or hosted server, that server may log IP address, user-agent, and requested URL according to its own settings. This static site does not add analytics tags.
What a production build would disclose
- Whether cookies or similar storage are used, and for what (session, analytics, security).
- How long editorial correspondence is kept, and who can see a claimed-profile inbox.
- Whether any vendor (email, hosting, CDN) processes data, and the legal basis if you are in a jurisdiction that requires one.
- How to request deletion of an email you later submit for updates.
Do not send sensitive client files here
Do not paste medical records, Social Security numbers, or unredacted settlement agreements into these forms. Production intake would use a secured channel. This prototype is not that channel.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Past results
Average payouts, win rates, and individual case results — including the illustrative figures in this prototype — do not guarantee a future outcome. Every claim turns on liability, damages, insurance, venue, and the facts of that file.
Not a referral service
ClaimIndex does not match you with a lawyer, does not take a referral fee, and does not receive payment for rank. If you hire anyone mentioned on this site, that engagement is solely between you and that firm.
Not State Bar approved
ClaimIndex is not approved by any State Bar. Scores are editorial opinion based on a published methodology. They are not a certification of competence.
Advertising
Lawyers and firms are responsible for their own advertising compliance (including ABA Model Rule 7.1 and state counterparts). Do not treat a ClaimIndex rank as a testimonial you can paste onto a billboard without review.
Fictional names in this edition
Firm names, scores, and case statistics in the current dataset are illustrative. They are not verified rankings of real practices. Do not rely on them to choose counsel.
Statutes of limitations
Deadlines vary by state and claim type. Reading this site does not stop the clock. If you may be close to a deadline, contact a licensed attorney immediately — do not wait on a ranking table.
