ClaimIndex For Law Firms

About ClaimIndex

An independent ranking of compensation law firms in the USA. Built so injury victims get clarity before they sign — not another commercial dressed up as research.

The problem

People choose a lawyer from ads. That’s a bad system.

National TV, billboards, and paid search reward the firms that spend the most — not the ones that document outcomes, answer the phone, or put the fee in writing. ClaimIndex exists to put comparable facts next to those names.

Who we are

ClaimIndex is an editorial ranking site. We are not a law firm, not a lawyer referral service, and not a lead marketplace. We do not match you with counsel. We do not take a cut of your recovery.

Hiring anyone listed here is solely between you and that firm. Reading this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Past results do not guarantee a future outcome.

What we believe

  • No pay-to-playRankings cannot be bought. Ad spend, Super Lawyers badges, and TV volume never move a score.
  • Independently runNot owned by any law firm, insurer, or lead-generation company.
  • Evidence over slogansCorrections are accepted with dockets, bar records, and signed fee schedules — not with a media kit.
  • Built for claimantsThe score weights what injury victims actually need: results, fees, speed, and whether the firm is licensed where the crash happened.

Who this is for

Three audiences. One public score.

The ranking is public. The incentives are not. Claimants read it to compare. Firms use it to correct the record. Journalists use it as a starting point, not a verdict.

01

Injury victims

Compare firms on documented recoveries, contingency fees, response time, and licensed states before you sign a retainer.

02

Law firms

Claim a profile, submit verified outcomes, and flag errors. You cannot buy a better rank. You can document a better one.

03

Researchers

Use the methodology notes and monthly refresh as a public dataset — not as State Bar approval or a guaranteed result.

Editorial line

What this ranking covers — and what it does not

“Compensation firm” here means a U.S. personal injury or mass-claims practice paid on contingency. It does not mean workers’ compensation insurers, SSA disability mills, or claims-adjusting shops.

In scope

Personal injury & mass claims

Auto and trucking, medical malpractice, third-party workplace injury, products, and coordinated MDL inventories with real trial capacity.

Out of scope

Not a directory of every lawyer

We do not rank criminal, family, immigration, or insurance-defense shops. A missing name is not a finding that the firm is illegitimate — only that it is not in this edition.

About this build

Is ClaimIndex a real, live ranking of named U.S. firms?

This edition is a working prototype. Firm names in the dataset are fictional. Real-firm scoring needs verified dockets, bar records, and rights-cleared case results. The ranking engine stays the same when that file is swapped in.

Do you take referral fees?

No. We do not match you with a lawyer. If you hire anyone listed here, that relationship is solely between you and that firm.

Can a firm pay to move up?

No. Placement is not for sale. A claimed profile lets a firm submit documentation. It does not change the weights.
